DC Shooter Manifesto Reveals Attack Plan

Investigators are examining a manifesto allegedly sent by White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting suspect Cole Tomas Allen minutes before gunfire erupted at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC.

DC Shooter Sent Manifesto Before Attack

Allen, a 31-year-old man from California, allegedly sent a 1,052-word document to family members shortly before the attack. The document reportedly outlined his motives, his intended targets and his view of the political situation in the United States.

Officials said the manifesto suggested that Trump administration officials were among the intended targets. Investigators are now reviewing the document to understand whether the attack was planned by Allen alone or influenced by wider political radicalisation.

Trump Officials Were Alleged Targets

The manifesto reportedly contained harsh accusations against President Donald Trump and members of his administration. It also included personal messages to relatives and a line saying he did not expect forgiveness.

Authorities said the suspect appeared to have prepared for the attack and studied security arrangements around the event. The Washington Hilton was hosting top political leaders, officials, journalists and guests when the shooting began.

White House Dinner Security Under Review

The attack has raised serious questions about event security after a gunman managed to reach a sensitive area near the screening checkpoint. A Secret Service agent was struck during the incident but was protected by a bullet-resistant vest.

Trump, First Lady Melania Trump and senior officials were evacuated safely. Allen was arrested at the scene and remains in custody as investigators continue reviewing the manifesto, weapons, digital records and possible motive behind the attack.
