A recent video showing a conversation between US President Joe Biden and former President Barack Obama has taken social media by storm, with many speculating about the nature of their exchange. While some suggested tension between the two, a professional lip-reader has provided a different interpretation, revealing a supportive discussion about the upcoming election.
Biden-Obama Exchange Decoded by Expert
According to Jeremy Freeman, a forensic lip-reading expert with over 16 years of experience, Biden was overheard saying, “She is not as strong as me,” to which Obama agreed, responding, “That’s true.” The “she” in question is speculated to refer to Vice President Kamala Harris, who is also the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee. Freeman noted that the exchange took place during a memorial service for Ethel Kennedy in Washington, just weeks before the upcoming November 5 election.
Conversation Focuses on Campaign Strategy
The conversation didn’t end there. Obama was reportedly heard telling Biden, “We have time,” to which Biden responded, “Yeah, we’ll get it in time.” Freeman described the exchange as “very supportive,” with both leaders discussing the importance of aligning their campaign strategies. Obama even hinted at joining Harris on the campaign trail, stating, “It’s important that we have some time together.”
Despite Obama shaking his head at one point in the video, Freeman dismissed any signs of tension, emphasizing the focus on election plans and the need for collaboration moving forward.
