Deepinder Goyal Steps Down as Eternal CEO
Deepinder Goyal has resigned as chief executive officer of Eternal Ltd, the parent company of Zomato and Blinkit. The leadership change will take effect from February 1, 2026, the company said in an official announcement.
Albinder Dhindsa Named Successor
Eternal has appointed Albinder Singh Dhindsa, currently the chief executive officer of Blinkit, as its new group CEO. Dhindsa is expected to oversee the company’s food delivery and quick commerce businesses, building on his role in scaling Blinkit’s operations.
Reason for Leadership Change
Goyal said he is stepping away from day-to-day management to focus on pursuing new ideas and higher-risk ventures outside the listed company structure. He will continue to be associated with Eternal as vice chairman of the board, subject to shareholder approval.
Company Outlook
The company described the transition as a planned leadership realignment aimed at ensuring operational continuity while allowing strategic experimentation at the founder level. Eternal will continue to focus on strengthening its core consumer internet platforms across food delivery and quick commerce.
