Kangana Calls Modi Biggest Feminist in House
BJP MP Kangana Ranaut praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a Lok Sabha debate on the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill, 2026, saying that the daughters of India see no bigger feminist than him. Her remarks came during discussion on measures linked to women’s representation in the lower house and the wider delimitation exercise.

Speaking in the Lok Sabha, Kangana said Modi had shown faith in the women of India and described him as the only flag bearer of feminism. She made the remarks while participating in the debate on the Bill that seeks to ensure one-third representation for women in the Lok Sabha. Her speech positioned the proposed reform as a political and symbolic step in favour of women’s participation in Parliament.

The debate took place during a special parliamentary session focused on proposals to expand the Lok Sabha and reserve one-third of seats for women. The proposed changes are tied to the broader delimitation exercise, which has become a major national political issue. Kangana backed that linkage and argued that delimitation is a constitutional necessity rather than an avoidable delay.
Kangana Backs Modi on Women Empowerment
During her speech, Kangana also referred to Modi’s earlier work in Gujarat, saying he had consistently campaigned against female foeticide and supported greater awareness on women’s issues. She rejected criticism that the Bill was being rushed and said the Prime Minister was acting quickly to deliver justice to women. Her intervention added a strong political endorsement of the government’s position during a high-profile parliamentary debate.
