CBSE Re-Evaluation Portal To Open On June 1

The Central Board of Secondary Education will open its Class 12 verification and re-evaluation portal on June 1 after delaying the process amid complaints over technical glitches and student concerns about the evaluation system.

CBSE Re-Evaluation Portal Delayed

The post-result portal was earlier expected to open on May 29 but has now been pushed to June 1. The portal will allow Class 12 students to apply for verification of marks, obtain scanned copies of evaluated answer books and seek re-evaluation where permitted.

The delay comes after students and parents raised complaints about login failures, payment issues, blurred scanned copies and confusion over the post-result process.

Class 12 Students Raise OSM Concerns

The controversy is linked to CBSE’s On-Screen Marking system, which was introduced to improve transparency and speed in evaluation. However, several students have claimed that answer sheets were unclear, marks appeared inconsistent and technical issues made the review process difficult.

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has already said he takes responsibility for the discrepancy and assured students that corrective steps will be taken. The board has also said it is strengthening the portal before reopening services.

CBSE Promises Smoother Process

CBSE is expected to handle a large number of applications once the portal opens. Students have been advised to follow official instructions carefully and avoid repeated requests that may slow down processing.

The re-evaluation process is expected to be closely watched, as it has become central to restoring confidence among Class 12 students and parents.
