Asaduddin Owaisi Alleges Muslims Being Targeted
AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has alleged that Muslims are being targeted under a planned agenda, linking his claim to the Special Intensive Revision process and the wider debate around NRC and NPR.
Asaduddin Owaisi Targets SIR, NRC And NPR
Owaisi claimed that the Special Intensive Revision process was being connected with the National Register of Citizens and the National Population Register. He alleged that these issues were being used to create fear among Muslims.
The AIMIM leader said the matter would eventually go to court and argued that the citizenship-related debate was being framed in a way that specifically affects the Muslim community.
Owaisi Raises Nida Khan Case
Owaisi also referred to the Nida Khan case and said Tata Consultancy Services had clarified that she was not an HR employee. He alleged that her name was made public before the FIR was registered and accused the ruling party of conducting a media trial.
He questioned the references made in the FIR and asked whether possessing religious books could be treated as a criminal act.
AIMIM Chief Questions Political Narrative
The Hyderabad MP alleged that Muslims were being targeted on the basis of hatred and said such cases should be examined legally. His remarks came amid ongoing political debate over citizenship, identity and minority rights.
Owaisi said AIMIM would continue to raise the issue and challenge what he described as an organised campaign against Muslims.
