Adani Enterprises Q2 Profit Soars 664% YoY to ₹1,742 Crore
Adani Enterprises (AEL) reported a massive 664% year-on-year (YoY) increase in its consolidated net profit for the second quarter of FY25, soaring to ₹1,742 crore.
This represents a significant jump from the ₹228 crore profit posted during the same period last year.
Revenue Growth and Fundraising Plans
AEL’s revenue from operations during the September quarter also saw a 16% rise, reaching ₹22,608 crore, compared to ₹19,546 crore in the same quarter last year. However, on a sequential basis, revenue dipped by 11%, down from ₹25,472 crore in the April-June quarter of FY25.
The company’s board has approved a ₹2,000 crore fundraising plan through the issuance of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) in multiple tranches. This adds to AEL’s previous fundraising initiatives, including ₹4,200 crore raised through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) and ₹3,874 crore via NCDs.
Expansion Initiatives
Adani Enterprises also announced that it has received a Letter of Award for an electrolyser manufacturing facility with a capacity of 101.5 MW per annum from SECI, pushing its cumulative awarded capacity to 300 MW per annum.
Following the strong Q2 earnings report, shares of Adani Enterprises jumped 2% to close at ₹2,849.
