Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has described Prime Minister Narendra Modi receiving Slovakia’s top state honour as a matter of pride for all Indians, saying the recognition reflects India’s growing global stature.

Adityanath congratulated PM Modi after Slovakia conferred the Order of the White Double Cross, First Class, on him during a ceremony in Bratislava. The Chief Minister said the award was not just a personal honour for the Prime Minister but a proud moment for 140 crore Indians.
He said the recognition showed the respect India has earned globally under PM Modi’s leadership. Adityanath also said the award acknowledged India’s role in strengthening international partnerships and promoting cooperation between nations.
PM Modi receives Slovakia top award
PM Modi was conferred the Order of the White Double Cross, First Class, by Slovak President Peter Pellegrini. The honour is Slovakia’s highest state decoration awarded to foreign citizens for distinguished contributions to the country and international relations.
The award was presented during PM Modi’s visit to Bratislava. It marks another major international recognition for the Indian Prime Minister and adds to the list of global honours he has received from foreign governments.
India Slovakia relations gain focus
The award ceremony came as India and Slovakia moved to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties. PM Modi’s visit focused on expanding cooperation in trade, investment, technology, defence, clean energy and people-to-people relations.
Adityanath said India continues to emerge as a leading voice on the global stage. He added that the honour reflected growing admiration, trust and goodwill for India across the world.
