UAE Says Iranian Missiles Targeted Shipping
The UAE said its air-defence systems detected two ballistic missiles originating from Iran and assessed that they were targeting maritime navigation.
According to authorities, both missiles fell into the sea, with one landing within UAE territorial waters and the other outside them.
An emergency security alert was issued to residents during the incident before being lifted.
Iran has rejected the UAE’s allegations and denied responsibility for the missiles.
