Russia Launches Massive Drone Attack On Ukraine

Russia launched another large wave of drone and missile attacks on Ukraine, killing at least three people and injuring several others as the war continued to intensify despite stalled diplomatic efforts.

Russia Drone Attack On Ukraine

Ukrainian officials said Russia fired hundreds of drones and missiles at several regions, targeting residential areas, infrastructure and transport facilities. Air defence units intercepted many of the incoming drones, but debris and direct strikes caused damage in multiple cities.

The latest assault came after a brief truce period ended without any major progress toward peace. Kyiv has accused Moscow of using large-scale aerial attacks to pressure Ukraine while avoiding meaningful negotiations.

Ukraine Reports Civilian Deaths

At least three people were killed in the latest attacks, according to Ukrainian authorities. Several others were injured as emergency teams responded to fires, damaged homes and destroyed public infrastructure.

The attacks affected both frontline and rear regions, showing Russia’s continued ability to strike across Ukraine using drones, missiles and guided bombs. Ukrainian officials said the country needs stronger air defence systems to protect civilians and critical infrastructure.

Peace Talks Remain Stalled

The renewed strikes come as international efforts to end the war remain stuck. Ukraine has urged allies to increase pressure on Russia, saying Moscow’s attacks show it is not serious about de-escalation.

The war has also increased concerns across Europe over energy security, military preparedness and the wider risk of regional instability. With both sides continuing long-range strikes, the conflict remains far from any immediate settlement.
