Royal Enfield’s First EV Hits Bengaluru
Royal Enfield’s electric mobility brand Flying Flea has started customer deliveries of its debut electric motorcycle, the FF.C6, in Bengaluru as part of a phased city-wise rollout strategy.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 Deliveries Begin
Flying Flea has begun deliveries of the FF.C6 in Bengaluru, marking Royal Enfield’s first major customer-facing step in the electric motorcycle segment. The company is taking a localised rollout approach, beginning with Bengaluru before expanding to other cities.
The FF.C6 is positioned as an urban electric motorcycle under Royal Enfield’s newly created Flying Flea brand. It is available in two colour options, Storm Black and Flea Green.
Flying Flea C6 Price And Battery Plan
The Flying Flea FF.C6 has been priced at ₹2.79 lakh ex-showroom. Buyers can also choose a Battery-as-a-Service subscription model, which brings down the upfront vehicle purchase cost to ₹1.99 lakh.
The battery subscription model is aimed at making the motorcycle more accessible by separating part of the battery cost from the initial purchase price. This approach is increasingly being explored by electric vehicle brands to reduce entry costs for customers.
Bengaluru EV Service Network For Flying Flea
To support the launch, Flying Flea has introduced a city-specific hub-and-spoke retail and service network in Bengaluru. A central service hub in BTM Layout will handle specialised technical support, while spoke centres across the city will manage routine servicing and maintenance.
The brand is also using Royal Enfield’s existing retail network through a shop-in-shop format at select showrooms and service centres. The standard ownership package includes round-the-clock roadside assistance, strengthening after-sales support for early electric motorcycle buyers.
