PM Modi Pitches India As AI Hub At VivaTech

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed VivaTech 2026 in Paris, highlighting India’s growing role in artificial intelligence, digital public infrastructure and global innovation. He said technology can drive progress only when it is democratised and made accessible to all.

The Prime Minister said India is using technology across financial services, education, healthcare, agriculture and governance. He also highlighted India’s growing startup ecosystem and invited global companies to partner with India in developing scalable technology solutions.

Modi said India views artificial intelligence as “All Inclusive”, underlining that AI must improve lives instead of widening inequality. He said India’s AI approach is focused on people, accessibility and responsible innovation.

India’s role at VivaTech 2026 is being seen as a major opportunity to showcase its technology capabilities to European and global investors. The event also gives Indian startups and innovators a platform to connect with international companies, investors and policymakers.

India France Technology Partnership

The Paris event also highlighted the growing India-France partnership in innovation, AI and digital technology. France has emerged as an important technology partner for India, with both countries working to deepen cooperation in emerging sectors.

Modi’s address comes at a time when India is seeking to position itself as a global technology hub. The focus on digital public infrastructure, affordable innovation and AI-led growth is expected to strengthen India’s role in the global technology economy.
