Nida Khan Denied Interim Anticipatory Bail

A Nashik court has denied interim anticipatory bail to Nida Khan in the TCS Nashik case, where she is among the accused in allegations involving sexual harassment and attempted religious conversion. The order means she has not received temporary protection from arrest while her broader anticipatory bail plea remains pending.

Court Denies Interim Relief To Nida Khan

The interim relief plea was rejected by the Additional District Court in Nashik Road. Nida Khan had approached the court seeking protection from arrest while her anticipatory bail application was being considered. With the interim request denied, no immediate shield from arrest has been granted at this stage of the case.

Final Hearing On Anticipatory Bail Fixed

The court is now set to hear her anticipatory bail application in full on April 27. Her plea reportedly raised grounds including pregnancy and delay in the filing of the FIR. However, the court did not grant temporary relief ahead of that final hearing, keeping the matter open for a fuller consideration later this month.

TCS Nashik Case Investigation Continues

The case has drawn attention because it involves allegations that women employees at a TCS-linked BPO setup in Nashik were sexually harassed and pressured for religious conversion. Eight accused have been named in the broader case. Seven have already been arrested, while Nida Khan is the only accused yet to be taken into custody. Reports indicate she is named in one FIR that includes allegations of derogatory remarks about Hindu deities. The Special Investigation Team continues its search as the legal process moves forward.
