Kangana Calls CJP’s Saurav Das Useless
BJP MP and actor Kangana Ranaut has intensified her public dispute with CJP spokesperson Saurav Das, calling him “useless and unemployed” after he questioned her credibility and criticised her remarks about young protesters.
Kangana Ranaut Questions Saurav Das’s Credentials
Ranaut shared a screenshot of Das’s interview on Instagram and questioned his description as a student, noting that he was reportedly 28 years old.
She compared his position with her achievements at the same age, saying she had already won two National Film Awards. Ranaut added that she had spent two decades in public life and was currently balancing her parliamentary responsibilities with her work as a filmmaker, performer, producer, screenwriter and entrepreneur.
She then accused Das of lacking skills and failing to understand the demands faced by people working across multiple professions.
Saurav Das Criticises Kangana’s Remarks
The exchange began after Das responded to Ranaut’s criticism of the CJP-led protests and the younger people who participated in them.
Das claimed that even members of Ranaut’s own political party did not take her seriously. He also argued that Gen Z had contributed more to the country than Ranaut suggested and criticised her understanding of parliamentary responsibilities.
CJP Protest Comments Trigger Online Dispute
Ranaut had earlier described videos from the demonstrations as “puke-inducing” and criticised the language, behaviour and appearance of some protesters.
She also attacked participants accused of damaging public property and argued that those who publicly criticised the government should be prepared to face strong responses.
The dispute has continued online even after the CJP-led agitation ended, with both sides trading personal and political accusations over the protest movement and its participants.
