The Indian Embassy in Riyadh advised citizens to remain calm and vigilant as the regional security situation continues to affect air travel and daily movement.

Indian nationals were asked to stay indoors during aerial attacks and rely only on instructions issued by Saudi authorities and official channels.

The embassy also specifically urged people not to circulate or repost videos, images or news related to ongoing security incidents.

Indian Airlines Suspend Saudi Flights

Air India and Air India Express have suspended flights to and from Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah until October 17.

Akasa Air has suspended services involving Riyadh and Jeddah, while IndiGo has cancelled flights to and from Riyadh, Dammam, Jeddah and Medina until the same date.

King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh remains affected by operational restrictions, while other major Saudi airports continue functioning with some disruptions.

Passengers, including Umrah pilgrims, have been advised to confirm flight status before travelling to airports and stay in contact with airlines, travel agents and tour operators.
