CBSE Portal Glitches Hit Re-Evaluation Process

Technical glitches in the CBSE post-result services portal have left several Class 12 students struggling to apply for scanned answer sheets, marks verification and re-evaluation. The disruption has triggered complaints from students and parents, forcing the government to step in and seek technical support.

CBSE Re-Evaluation Portal Faces Student Complaints

Students reported login failures, payment errors, inaccessible application windows and sudden changes in fee amounts while trying to use the CBSE portal after the board results.

The post-result process allows students to apply for scanned copies of evaluated answer books, verification of marks and re-evaluation. However, many students complained that technical problems delayed or blocked their applications during the limited window available.

IIT Experts Asked To Review CBSE Portal

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has directed experts from IIT Madras and IIT Kanpur to help review and stabilise the CBSE portal.

The technical team will assess portal stability, server performance, login systems, user access and payment gateway issues. The Centre has also involved public sector banks to strengthen the payment system after students reported failed transactions and incorrect fee deductions.

CBSE Extends Deadline For Answer Sheets

CBSE has extended the deadline for Class 12 students to apply for scanned copies of evaluated answer sheets. The board has said affected students will not be denied access to the post-result process because of portal issues.

The controversy has raised questions over the preparedness of digital systems used for high-stakes education services. For students seeking re-evaluation, timely access to the portal remains critical because every delay can affect their admission and future academic planning.
