Apple Launches New iPad Mini in India with A17 Pro Chip
Apple has officially launched its latest iPad mini in India, bringing several new upgrades and features to its smallest tablet.
Powered by the A17 Pro chip, the new iPad mini promises significant performance enhancements, allowing it to handle demanding tasks with ease, including Apple’s advanced AI-powered features.

The new iPad mini is available in four color options—blue, purple, starlight, and space grey. Prices start at ₹49,900 for the Wi-Fi model, while the Wi-Fi + Cellular model begins at ₹64,900. The base storage has been doubled from the previous version, starting at 128GB, with additional configurations available in 256GB and 512GB. Pre-orders for the new iPad mini are open, and deliveries will start on Wednesday, October 23.
A17 Pro Chip and Performance Boost
With the A17 Pro processor, the new iPad mini offers faster performance, boasting a CPU and GPU that can handle intensive tasks effortlessly. Apple claims that the device has a 2x faster Neural Engine, improving tasks such as gaming, video editing, and multitasking. The iPad mini’s 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display enhances the visual experience, providing sharper images and vibrant colors.
Enhanced Features and Connectivity
Supporting the Apple Pencil Pro, the new iPad mini is equipped with a 12MP wide rear camera and a 12MP Ultra Wide front-facing camera. The rear camera supports Smart HDR 4, and with AI capabilities, the device can automatically identify documents and improve photo quality using the new True Tone flash.
The iPad mini also supports Wi-Fi 6E, offering up to twice the performance speed of its predecessor, making downloads, online gaming, and streaming even faster. Apple promises all-day battery life, ensuring the device stays powered for long stretches of use.
