Ajit Doval Warns Terrorists India Will Hunt Them Down
National Security Adviser Ajit Doval has issued a strong warning to terrorists behind attacks on India, saying the country will pursue perpetrators wherever they are. Speaking about Operation Sindoor and the April 2025 Pahalgam terror attack, Doval said India’s tolerance should not be mistaken for weakness.
Ajit Doval Warns Terrorists After Pahalgam Attack
Doval recalled Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s response after returning to India following the Pahalgam attack, in which 26 civilians were killed.
According to Doval, Modi’s immediate priority was to establish who was responsible. Indian agencies subsequently linked the attack to Pakistan-based terrorist groups.
Doval said India would pursue those responsible whether they were on “land, sky or even hell”, adding that the perpetrators would not be forgiven.
Operation Sindoor Sent Strong Deterrence Message
India launched Operation Sindoor on the night of May 6-7, 2025, targeting nine terrorist facilities linked to groups including Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
The operation was followed by four days of military escalation between India and Pakistan before both sides agreed to stop hostilities on May 10.
Doval said India had demonstrated its willingness to take risks and respond decisively when national security was threatened.
Doval Says Operation Sindoor Remains Active
Explaining Modi’s statement that Operation Sindoor remains alive, Doval said the broader fight against terrorism would continue until threats to India were neutralised.
His remarks underline India’s post-Pahalgam position that major terrorist attacks could trigger direct action against terror infrastructure across the border.
