White House Launches 24/7 ‘Trump TV’ Stream
The White House has launched a round-the-clock digital streaming service called “TRUMP TV: The Essentials Station”, providing continuous coverage of President Donald Trump’s speeches, announcements and previous public appearances amid an escalating dispute with major US news organisations.
Trump TV Offers 24/7 White House Coverage
The service went live on September 21 and is available through the White House website and YouTube.
The 24/7 stream features presidential speeches, administration announcements, major remarks, past events and other official White House footage. Programming is updated in real time alongside archival material, including Trump’s previous public appearances and his 2025 inauguration.
The White House said the platform would provide viewers with presidential moments that may not receive coverage on conventional television networks.
Launch Comes Amid White House Media Dispute
Trump TV was launched as the administration remains locked in a dispute with CNN, MS NOW and Politico after the three organisations were barred from White House grounds.
The outlets have filed a federal lawsuit challenging the restrictions, arguing that excluding them because of their reporting violates constitutional protections.
Trump has defended the decision, accusing the organisations of publishing what he calls “fake news”.
TV Networks Suspend Presidential Pool Coverage
The dispute has also disrupted the traditional White House television pool after major US networks suspended their participation following CNN’s removal from scheduled pool duties.
The television pool normally allows broadcasters to share footage from presidential events when access is limited.
Trump TV now gives the White House its own permanent digital channel for distributing presidential video directly to the public without relying on television networks for coverage.
