US Completes Sixth Night of Iran Strikes
The United States military has completed another major wave of strikes against Iran, targeting dozens of military facilities across the country. The operation marked the sixth consecutive night of US attacks as tensions continue to escalate across the Middle East.
US Strikes Iranian Military Targets
US Central Command said fighter aircraft, aerial drones and warships launched precision-guided munitions against Iranian military positions.
The targets included coastal surveillance systems, air-defence sites, military logistics infrastructure and maritime capabilities. The operation was intended to weaken Iran’s ability to conduct further military actions and threaten commercial vessels operating in regional waters.
The US military did not immediately release a detailed assessment of the damage caused or provide information about possible casualties.
Sixth Consecutive Night of Attacks
The latest operation marked the sixth consecutive night of US strikes against Iran. American forces have continued targeting military infrastructure amid an expanding campaign linked to attacks on commercial shipping and growing instability around the Strait of Hormuz.
The strategically important waterway connects the Persian Gulf with the Gulf of Oman and carries a significant share of global energy shipments.
Recent attacks on vessels have increased concerns over the safety of seafarers and the potential disruption of international maritime trade.
US Forces Remain Across Middle East
More than 50,000 US service personnel are currently operating across the Middle East as Washington strengthens its military presence in the region.
American forces remain positioned at airbases, naval facilities and other strategic locations as the confrontation with Iran continues.
The latest strikes have further raised concerns about a prolonged conflict, with military operations and retaliatory attacks threatening regional security and commercial shipping routes.
