Two Fires Reported In Noida On Same Day

Two separate fire incidents were reported in Noida on Friday, with a high-rise flat in Ivy County Society and a Sector 52 commercial area affected. No major casualties were immediately reported in either incident.

Noida Ivy County Fire In Sector 75

A major fire broke out in a flat on the 12th floor of Ivy County Society in Noida’s Sector 75, triggering panic among residents. Visuals from the spot showed flames and thick smoke rising from the high-rise building.

Fire department teams rushed to the society after receiving information about the blaze and launched firefighting operations. Residents in nearby flats were moved to safer areas as a precaution while officials worked to control the fire.

Sector 52 Fire Reported In Noida

Another fire incident was reported from Noida’s Sector 52. Initial reports said the blaze took place near a commercial area, with emergency teams responding quickly to prevent further spread.

Officials are yet to confirm the exact cause of both incidents. Preliminary suspicion in such cases often points to electrical faults, but a formal inquiry will determine whether short circuit, equipment failure or any other factor caused the fires.

Fire Safety Concerns In Noida High-Rises

The back-to-back incidents have renewed concerns over fire safety preparedness in Noida’s residential societies, markets and shared accommodation spaces.

Authorities are expected to review whether fire alarms, evacuation routes, extinguishers and electrical safety systems were functional at the affected locations. The incidents come amid wider scrutiny of fire safety standards across the National Capital Region after recent major fire tragedies.
