Tirupati Iskcon Temple Receives Bomb Threat Amidst Hoax Emails

The Iskcon temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, received a bomb threat via email on October 27, prompting a swift response from security forces.

The email claimed that terrorists linked to Pakistan’s ISI would target the temple. In response, security at the temple was heightened, and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) teams, along with sniffer dogs, conducted a thorough search of the premises.

No Explosives Found

Following the security sweep, no explosives or suspicious items were discovered. Despite this, a police investigation into the bomb threat is underway.

Recent Hoax Threats in Tirupati

This threat comes just days after bomb threats were sent to several prominent hotels in Tirupati on October 26, which were later confirmed as hoaxes by authorities. These hoax emails mentioned a drug trafficking kingpin and hinted at a conspiracy involving Tamil Nadu officials and Pakistan’s ISI.

In total, five bomb threats were reported across hotels and the temple, with none proving legitimate. Local authorities continue to monitor the situation closely, ensuring heightened security in the area.
