Trump Iran war prediction – Bharat Pulse News

US President Donald Trump has predicted that the conflict with Iran will end immediately after the November midterm elections, claiming Tehran is attempting to prolong the confrontation to influence American voters. Trump Links Iran War to US Midterm Elections Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Trump said he believed the war would end shortly after Americans vote on November 3 because Iran could no longer sustain the pressure being imposed by the United States. He accused Tehran of being “desperate” to influence the midterm elections, although he provided no evidence to support the allegation. Trump’s statement represents his assessment of how the conflict may develop rather than an announced ceasefire agreement or confirmed timetable for ending hostilities. US-Iran Conflict Enters Seventh Month The confrontation between the United States and Iran has now continued for more than six months, despite Trump initially suggesting that military operations would be relatively short. Tensions have intensified around the Strait of Hormuz, with US forces striking Iranian oil tankers following attacks attributed to Iran against American naval vessels and other targets in the Gulf. Iran has continued retaliatory military operations while facing a US naval blockade and mounting economic pressure. Oil Prices Rise Amid Iran Conflict The prolonged confrontation has disrupted energy markets, with Brent crude climbing above $100 a barrel as concerns grow over shipping and oil supplies through the Gulf. Trump has previously predicted that oil and gasoline prices will fall sharply once the conflict ends. While he has left open the possibility of negotiations with Iran, Washington and Tehran are not currently engaged in formal talks aimed at ending the fighting. The November midterms will determine control of the US Congress and are increasingly being shaped by concerns over the conflict, energy costs and the wider economy.
