U.S. President Donald Trump has praised the outcome of the U.S. military strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, describing Iran’s subsequent missile response as “very weak.” In a detailed post on Truth Social late Monday, Trump stated that Iran fired 14 missiles, but 13 were intercepted and the remaining “set free” harmlessly, as it was aimed in a non-threatening direction. He emphasised that no American lives were lost and “hardly any damage was done,” calling it a clear demonstration of U.S. defence preparedness. Trump framed Iran’s response as a symbolic release intended to “get it all out of their system,” adding that he hopes this will prevent further escalation or hatred.
