Holborn and St Pancras By-Election Ahead Starmer’s resignation will trigger a by-election in Holborn and St Pancras, traditionally regarded as a strong Labour seat. He said he would not publicly endorse any candidate seeking to replace him and would instead support whoever is selected by the local Labour Party. The contest is expected to attract significant political attention as Labour adjusts to its new leadership under Prime Minister Andy Burnham.
