He emphasized that "such actions must be strongly condemned," and urged a comprehensive review of Canada’s stance on these issues. Australia Voices Concern for Indian Community Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong expressed solidarity with the Indian community, calling the incidents "upsetting" and acknowledging the impact of the Brampton temple attack. "Our local members have expressed strong views, especially given the timing around Diwali," Wong said, noting the significance of faith and cultural security. Strong Indian Response to Temple Attack in Canada The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in India has condemned the attack, urging Canadian authorities to prosecute those responsible. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated, “We condemn the acts of violence perpetrated by extremists and separatists at the Hindu Sabha Temple in Brampton.” Jaiswal called on Canada to ensure the safety of all places of worship, particularly against threats to the Indian community. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also reacted strongly, describing the incident as "cowardly attempts to intimidate" Indian diplomats. Modi urged Canada to ensure justice, emphasizing that such acts "will never weaken India’s resolve." He added, "We expect the Canadian government to ensure justice and uphold the rule of law."
