Pulwama Attack Mastermind Burhan was identified as one of the alleged masterminds of the 2019 Pulwama terror attack, in which 40 CRPF personnel were killed after a suicide bomber targeted a convoy on the Jammu-Srinagar highway. The identity of the attackers and the motive behind the killing remain unclear. However, Burhan’s death is being seen as a setback to terror networks operating from Pakistan-occupied territory.
