Joe Root Named Interim England Captain Senior batter Joe Root has been named interim captain for the second Test in Stokes’ absence. The match will be played at The Oval from June 17 to June 21. England Add Jofra Archer And Jordan Cox England have added Sussex fast bowler Jofra Archer and Essex batter Jordan Cox to the squad.
