Russia Warns U.S.: Don’t Attack Iran’s Nuclear Sites
Amid rising tensions in the Middle East, Russia has issued a grave warning to the United States, cautioning against any military strike on Iranian nuclear facilities. Moscow declared that such action could trigger widespread regional instability and even risk a nuclear catastrophe.
Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov stated that any U.S. airstrike targeting Iran’s nuclear program “would radically destabilise the Middle East.” The Kremlin emphasized that military aggression could ignite a crisis spiraling far beyond regional borders.

The Russian government also raised concerns about the safety of international nuclear personnel stationed at facilities such as Bushehr, where Russian technicians are actively involved. Officials reaffirmed that Russia’s partnership with Iran in the civil nuclear domain is peaceful and does not involve military assistance.

President Vladimir Putin, speaking at an international forum, refused to comment on allegations that the U.S. and Israel were planning to target Iran’s top leadership.
