Rahul Gandhi Attacks PM Modi Over CBSE Row

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the CBSE Class 12 results controversy, alleging that students and parents across the country have been left shocked by serious irregularities in the evaluation process.

Rahul Gandhi On CBSE Results Row

Rahul Gandhi accused the Prime Minister of remaining silent despite growing anger among students over the CBSE Class 12 results. In a post on X, he alleged “massive tampering” in the exam results and said the issue had affected millions of children and their families.

He also questioned the government’s accountability, saying there had been no clear answers from the Centre despite repeated complaints linked to the evaluation process.

CBSE Evaluation Controversy

The controversy is linked to complaints over CBSE’s On-Screen Marking system, under which scanned answer sheets were evaluated digitally. Students have raised concerns over alleged unchecked answers, missing marks, poor scan quality and errors in marks uploaded after evaluation.

The issue has also affected students applying for revaluation and post-result services, with some reporting portal glitches and payment-related problems.

COEMPT And Globarena Allegation

Rahul Gandhi further alleged that COEMPT, the company involved in the CBSE process, had earlier been connected to a similar controversy in Telangana in 2019 under the name Globarena.

The CBSE has denied any security breach and said the evaluation system was designed to improve transparency. The Centre has also brought in technical experts to examine the matter. The row has now become a wider political issue, with the Opposition demanding answers over the handling of students’ results.
