PM Modi to Receive Top Honours from Guyana, Barbados
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to receive the highest national honours from Guyana and Barbados, further adding to his growing list of international accolades.
Guyana will confer the Order of Excellence, its highest civilian honour, on PM Modi, while Barbados will present him with the Honorary Order of Freedom of Barbados, a prestigious recognition for his contributions to global leadership and diplomacy.

These awards follow closely after Dominica’s announcement to honour PM Modi with the Dominica Award of Honour. The latest recognitions bring the total count of international awards conferred on PM Modi to 19, reflecting his significant impact on the global stage.
Recent Honour from Nigeria
Earlier, during his visit to Nigeria, PM Modi was conferred with the country’s second-highest national honour, The Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger, by Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Expressing his gratitude, PM Modi remarked, “This honour will keep inspiring us to take the India-Nigeria strategic partnership to new heights.”
