PM Modi Mentions Operation Sindoor In Australia

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the Indian community in Melbourne, said Operation Sindoor demonstrated India’s defence capability and sent a strong message against terrorism.

Speaking at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, PM Modi referred to India’s anti-terror operation after the Pahalgam terror attack and said the explosions at terror camps were heard across the world.

He said India’s response showed the capability and credibility of the country’s defence platforms. The Prime Minister told the gathering that India had taken decisive action against terror infrastructure and that the operation reflected the country’s resolve to respond firmly to terrorism.

His remarks drew loud cheers from the Indian diaspora present at the event.

Make In India Defence Push

PM Modi used the address to highlight India’s growing defence and manufacturing capabilities.

He said Indian-made products were gaining wider global recognition, adding that Make in India had grown into a global brand over the past 12 years.

The Prime Minister said India’s mobile phones, electronics, automobiles and pharmaceutical products had expanded their global footprint. He linked this progress to India’s larger ambition of becoming a developed nation.

Modi Addresses Indian Diaspora In Australia

PM Modi said India is the world’s fastest-growing major economy and is working to become one of the top three economies globally.

He also highlighted India’s technology growth, saying the country had become the world’s second-largest 5G market and was working rapidly on indigenous 6G technology.

Thanking the Indian community for the welcome, PM Modi said Melbourne had “stolen the show” with its enthusiasm and said the diaspora continued to strengthen India’s image abroad.
