L&T Wins ₹15,000 Crore ADNOC Order
Larsen & Toubro has secured an ultra-mega offshore hydrocarbon order from ADNOC Offshore, strengthening the Indian engineering major’s presence in the Middle East energy sector. Based on L&T’s project classification, the contract is valued at more than ₹15,000 crore.
L&T Wins ADNOC Offshore Order
The contract has been awarded to L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore, the company’s specialised offshore oil and gas business. L&T announced the development through a regulatory filing but did not disclose the precise financial value of the agreement.
L&T classifies contracts worth between ₹10,000 crore and ₹15,000 crore as mega orders. Projects valued above ₹15,000 crore fall under its ultra-mega category, placing the latest ADNOC Offshore contract in the company’s highest order bracket.
Offshore Project Includes Multiple Packages
The contract covers multiple offshore packages involving engineering, procurement, construction and installation work. Its scope includes the development of new offshore structures and upgrades to existing energy facilities.
L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore provides integrated solutions for offshore oil and gas projects, covering engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning. The business operates fabrication facilities and executes large energy infrastructure projects across international markets.
The latest order adds to L&T’s growing portfolio of major offshore hydrocarbon contracts in West Asia.
L&T Expands Middle East Energy Business
ADNOC Offshore is responsible for developing and operating Abu Dhabi’s offshore oil and gas resources. The company has been investing in production capacity, infrastructure modernisation and advanced technologies across its offshore fields.
The contract further deepens L&T’s relationship with major Middle Eastern energy companies. It also reinforces the company’s position among global engineering, procurement and construction contractors capable of delivering complex, capital-intensive offshore projects.
