Iran’s President Expresses Solidarity with India Over Pahalgam Attack

In the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed 26 lives, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian personally reached out to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to express solidarity with India and strongly condemn the act of violence.

During their telephonic conversation, both leaders emphasized that terrorism in any form is unacceptable and must be confronted collectively. They agreed that no justification can ever exist for such brutal attacks targeting innocent civilians. Prime Minister Modi conveyed to President Pezeshkian the deep anger and anguish felt across India over the loss of lives. He reiterated India’s firm resolve to bring the perpetrators of the Pahalgam attack, as well as their enablers and supporters, to justice swiftly.
