Indian Army Hosts Chanakya Defence Dialogue 2024 on Strategic Security
The Indian Army is set to host the second edition of the Chanakya Defence Dialogue on October 24-25, 2024, at the Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi.
This high-profile international seminar, themed “Drivers in Nation Building: Fuelling Growth Through Comprehensive Security,” will bring together a global audience of policymakers, military personnel, strategic thinkers, and academics. The event will focus on integrating security into national and international policymaking, crafting strategies to drive sustainable and inclusive growth.
Prominent Global Participation and Visionary Sessions
The two-day dialogue will feature six expert-led sessions, covering key topics such as geopolitical dynamics, economic strategies linked to security, and the role of technology in modern warfare. With speakers from the U.S., Russia, Israel, and Sri Lanka, discussions will explore India’s strategic positioning in the global arena, focusing on initiatives like Viksit Bharat @2047 and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
Keynote addresses will be delivered by Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh and Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, who will highlight India’s vision for development and the army’s role in nation-building. The dialogue will also showcase the Indian Army’s Green Initiative 1.0 and Digitisation of IA 1.0.
