India Preparing For Operation Sindoor 2.0
Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi has said India is preparing for a possible Operation Sindoor 2.0, while stressing that the armed forces remain alert and ready for the next phase of warfare. His remarks underline India’s continuing military preparedness after the Pahalgam terror attack and the earlier Operation Sindoor response.
Operation Sindoor 2.0 Preparedness
General Dwivedi said Operation Sindoor is still continuing and described the current situation as a temporary pause in hostilities. He said the Army, Navy and Air Force are preparing for Operation Sindoor 2.0 if the situation demands another response.
The Army Chief’s comments signal that India is maintaining operational readiness along sensitive fronts and keeping pressure on Pakistan over terror infrastructure.
Tri-Services Preparing For Future Warfare
General Dwivedi said all three services are equipping themselves for future warfare. The focus is on jointness, modern technology, intelligence, surveillance, precision targeting and faster coordination across the Army, Navy and Air Force.
He said future conflicts will require integrated responses instead of isolated service-level action. The statement reflects India’s broader push toward theatre commands, multi-domain warfare and technology-driven military preparedness.
Army Chief Warns Pakistan
The Army Chief linked India’s preparedness to Pakistan’s continued support for terrorism. He warned that any fresh provocation or terror-linked action would invite a strong response from India.
Operation Sindoor has become a key reference point in India’s new security posture, where terror attacks are expected to face calibrated military consequences. The latest remarks show that India is preparing both politically and militarily for any escalation while keeping its forces ready for rapid action.
