The Ministry of External Affairs said India has consistently conveyed to China that matters concerning the border are treated with the utmost seriousness.

India China Border Talks Continue
India and China have continued diplomatic and military-level discussions aimed at maintaining stability along the disputed boundary.
During recent talks under the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination on India-China Border Affairs, both sides reviewed the situation along the LAC and discussed measures to preserve peace and stability.
India has maintained that stable border conditions are necessary for the broader normalisation and development of bilateral relations with Beijing.
India Reaffirms Position on Arunachal Pradesh
New Delhi also reiterated its position on Arunachal Pradesh amid continuing Chinese claims and objections concerning the region.
India has repeatedly stated that Arunachal Pradesh is an integral and inalienable part of the country and that attempts to rename or reinterpret locations do not alter that position.
The boundary dispute remains one of the most sensitive issues in India-China relations despite ongoing diplomatic engagement.
