India Clinch 61-Run Victory Over South Africa in Thrilling T20 Match
India secured a convincing 61-run victory over South Africa in a thrilling T20 match, fueled by a spectacular century from Sanju Samson.
Samson’s explosive innings of 107 off 50 balls, featuring seven boundaries and ten sixes, set the tone for India’s strong total of 202/8. Despite a few stumbles from the middle order, India’s bowlers ensured South Africa was kept out of the contest with a clinical performance.
Samson’s Century Sets the Stage
Samson’s innings was a masterclass in aggression, as he attacked from the start, lifting India to a formidable score. However, India’s momentum was interrupted by quick middle-order dismissals, with Abhishek Sharma (6), Hardik Pandya (2), Axar Patel (7), and Rinku Singh (11) struggling to capitalize on the solid start. Tilak Varma supported Samson with a composed 33, while Suryakumar Yadav chipped in with a swift 21.
