Dhinakaran Files Complaint Against TVK

AMMK chief TTV Dhinakaran has filed a police complaint against Vijay’s Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, accusing the party of using a forged MLA support letter during the Tamil Nadu government formation process. The complaint has further intensified the political deadlock as rival camps continue to claim majority support.

AMMK Accuses TVK Of Forged Letter

Dhinakaran alleged that TVK circulated a forged copy of a letter claiming support from AMMK’s lone MLA, S Kamaraj. He said AMMK had not officially extended support to Vijay’s party and maintained that his party remained aligned with AIADMK.

TVK Releases Video Of Kamaraj

TVK rejected the allegation and released a video in which Kamaraj is purportedly seen writing a support letter backing Vijay’s party. TVK claimed the letter was written voluntarily and accused Dhinakaran of spreading misinformation after denying support.

Dhinakaran Backs AIADMK Claim

Dhinakaran later met Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar along with Kamaraj and formally backed AIADMK leader Edappadi K Palaniswami’s claim to form the government. He also said Palaniswami remained AMMK’s Chief Ministerial choice.

Tamil Nadu Numbers Game Deepens

The dispute has turned the government formation process into a high-stakes battle over support letters and political loyalty. Vijay had reportedly submitted signatures of 116 MLAs, two short of the majority mark, while delays and shifting positions from smaller parties have kept the final outcome uncertain.
