Delhi Judge Aman Sharma Dies By Suicide

A 30-year-old Delhi judicial officer, Aman Sharma, died by suicide at his residence in Safdarjung Enclave on Saturday. Police have begun an investigation and the body has been sent for post-mortem examination.

Aman Sharma was found dead at his home in South Delhi’s Safdarjung Enclave. Police were informed about the incident by a family member, after which a team reached the spot and started the required legal formalities.

Officials said suicide is suspected, but all angles are being examined as part of the investigation.

Aman Sharma Joined Delhi Judicial Service In 2021

Sharma had cleared the judicial service examination and joined the Delhi Judicial Service in June 2021. He was a graduate of Symbiosis Law School, Pune.

During his career, he handled both criminal and civil matters while serving as a judicial magistrate first class and civil judge.

DLSA Secretary In North East District

Since October 2025, Sharma had been serving as secretary of the District Legal Services Authority in North East District at Karkardooma Courts.

The incident has shocked members of the legal community. Further details are expected after the post-mortem report and police inquiry are completed.
