An Indian Army soldier and his civilian associate have been arrested in Amritsar for allegedly leaking sensitive military information to Pakistan’s intelligence agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). The arrests were made following a coordinated operation by intelligence and law enforcement agencies, marking yet another disturbing case of espionage targeting India’s military infrastructure.
Soldier Accused of Sharing Border Secrets
The soldier, whose identity is being withheld for security reasons, was reportedly posted at a sensitive location near the India-Pakistan border. He is suspected of transmitting operational details, including troop movement patterns, deployment schedules, and internal security protocols to his ISI handler through encrypted messaging platforms.
