Vijay Begins TVK Statewide Tour for 2026 Elections
Tamil actor and politician Vijay has launched a statewide campaign tour for his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), ahead of the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. The tour started on 13 September 2025 from Tiruchirappalli, where Vijay addressed a large public rally in Ariyalur.
Campaign Tour Details
Vijay is travelling in a specially designed bus equipped with cameras, loudspeakers, and protective iron railings to ensure crowd control during his appearances. The vehicle will be the central feature of his campaign as he moves across districts in Tamil Nadu.
Slogan and Positioning
The campaign carries the slogan “I Am Coming,” with TVK projecting Vijay as a chief ministerial candidate. The slogan is being used across banners, posters, and digital platforms to build momentum.
Strategy and Goals
This is the first full-scale election campaign by TVK since its launch. Vijay’s plan is to reach every district in the state, hold public rallies, and directly engage with voters. The party is aiming to establish itself as a strong alternative in Tamil Nadu’s political landscape.
