US Says 30 Iranian Ships Sunk In Ongoing War
The United States military has said that American forces have sunk more than 30 Iranian vessels since the start of the ongoing conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States. US officials also reported a sharp decline in Iranian missile attacks, indicating that military operations have significantly reduced Iran’s strike capabilities in the region.
US Central Command Reports Iranian Ships Destroyed
US Central Command said American naval and air operations have destroyed more than 30 Iranian vessels since the beginning of the war. The ships reportedly included various military platforms used by Iran for maritime operations in the region.
Among the vessels targeted was a drone carrier that was reportedly hit during the operations and later caught fire. Military officials stated that the strikes were part of coordinated actions aimed at weakening Iran’s naval capabilities and limiting its ability to conduct offensive operations.
The operations were carried out across strategic maritime zones where Iranian naval forces had been active during the conflict.
Iranian Missile Attacks Drop By 90 Percent
US military officials said the intensity of Iranian missile attacks has decreased sharply since the early phase of the conflict. According to the US commander overseeing operations in the Middle East, ballistic missile launches by Iran have fallen by around 90 percent compared to the first day of the war.
The decline in missile activity is being attributed to a combination of military strikes on Iranian launch capabilities and defensive systems deployed by US and allied forces in the region.
Officials indicated that reducing missile launches was one of the key objectives of the military campaign.
Conflict Reshapes Security Situation In Middle East
The ongoing war involving Iran has significantly altered the security environment across the Middle East. Naval routes, military installations, and strategic infrastructure have become focal points of military operations.
Regional tensions remain high as multiple countries continue to monitor the conflict’s impact on security and energy markets. The situation has also increased the presence of international military forces in the region to protect shipping lanes and strategic assets.
Military authorities say operations remain focused on reducing threats while maintaining stability in critical maritime corridors.
