Here is the same rewrite with sources hidden:

The United States has imposed sanctions on an Indian national and a Chhattisgarh-based explosives manufacturer over allegations that they helped supply material linked to Sudan’s civil war. The action is part of a wider sanctions package targeting individuals and entities accused of supporting procurement and recruitment networks in the conflict.

US Sanctions Indian Firm Over Sudan War

The sanctioned Indian national has been identified as Alok Choudhari, chief executive officer of Raipur-based SBL Energy Limited. The company, also known as Amin Explosives Private Limited and SBL Energy Private Limited, has been added to the U.S. sanctions list over alleged links to Sudan-based Target Multiactivities Company Ltd.

U.S. authorities alleged that SBL Energy supplied explosives and explosives-related material to the Sudanese company, which is linked to Sudan’s defence industrial network. The sanctions notice said the material was connected to the Sudanese Armed Forces.

SBL Energy Accused Of Explosives Supply

According to the sanctions announcement, SBL Energy allegedly supplied more than 200 shipments of explosives and related material since 2024. The U.S. said these supplies were later used in bombs deployed by the Sudanese Armed Forces.

The measures also targeted other individuals and entities based in Sudan and abroad, including those accused of supporting procurement networks and foreign fighter recruitment linked to the Sudan conflict.

Sudan Civil War Sanctions Tighten

Under the sanctions, any property or interests belonging to the designated persons and entities that fall under U.S. jurisdiction are blocked. U.S. persons are also generally prohibited from conducting transactions with them.

The move comes as Washington pushes for an immediate humanitarian truce in Sudan, where the civil war between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces has caused a severe humanitarian crisis.
