US Offers Reward For Mojtaba Khamenei
The United States has announced a reward of up to $10 million for information on Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei and several senior Iranian officials, marking a fresh escalation in Washington’s pressure campaign against Tehran amid the ongoing West Asia conflict. The announcement was made under the US Rewards for Justice programme, which targets individuals linked to security, intelligence and military operations considered a threat by Washington.

The reward applies to information related to Mojtaba Khamenei as well as other senior Iranian officials who are seen as key figures within Iran’s political and security leadership. US authorities said the initiative aims to obtain information that could help disrupt networks linked to Iran’s military and intelligence activities.
The Rewards for Justice programme stated that individuals who provide credible information may qualify for a financial reward and, in certain cases, relocation support to ensure their safety.
Rewards For Justice Targets Iranian Officials
Several senior officials were named in the public notice issued under the programme. These include Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib, Deputy Chief of Staff Ali Asghar Hejazi, Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi, Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni and Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani.
The programme allows people to submit information through secure communication channels, including encrypted messaging systems and a dedicated online portal designed to protect the identity of informants.
US Iran Tensions Continue To Rise
The announcement comes during a period of heightened confrontation between the United States and Iran. Military tensions in West Asia, along with sanctions and diplomatic pressure, have intensified the rivalry between the two countries.
By offering rewards for information on senior Iranian officials, Washington has added another tool to its broader strategy aimed at weakening Iran’s security and intelligence networks during the current geopolitical crisis.
