Telangana Aims for Global-Level Competitiveness: CM Revanth Reddy
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has said the state’s development goals are no longer limited to competing with other Indian states but are aimed at matching global standards. Speaking at a review meeting, he said Telangana must position itself as a state capable of competing with advanced nations in innovation, governance and economic growth.
Focus on World-Class Infrastructure and Investment
Revanth Reddy highlighted the state’s plans to expand large-scale infrastructure projects, including urban development, transport upgrades and industrial corridors. He said Hyderabad must evolve into a global hub comparable to leading international cities, and added that Telangana will actively seek foreign partnerships and investments to fast-track growth initiatives.
Summit to Showcase Telangana’s Global Ambitions
The Chief Minister said the upcoming “Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025” would be a key platform to present the state’s long-term economic vision. The government plans to highlight opportunities in technology, manufacturing, sustainability and urban planning, aiming to position the state as a preferred global investment destination.
Building Capacity to Match Aspirations
Revanth Reddy acknowledged that achieving these goals will require strong administrative capacity, improved ease of doing business and development across both urban and rural regions. He said the government’s objective is to ensure that the benefits of rapid growth reach all sections of society.
