TCS Says No Complaint Found in Nashik Review
TCS has said its preliminary internal review at the Nashik unit under investigation has not found any complaint of sexual harassment or religious conversion through its formal ethics or POSH channels. The company has also set up an oversight panel as the wider police investigation into the unit continues.
TCS Nashik Case Internal Review
TCS CEO K Krithivasan said the company had begun a detailed review after allegations surfaced around the Nashik facility. According to the company, an initial examination of internal systems and records did not show complaints of the kind being alleged through official grievance channels. However, the company said the review is still continuing and that more findings will be assessed as the process moves forward.
Oversight Panel for Nashik Unit Probe
To supervise the internal response, TCS has constituted an oversight committee chaired by independent director Keki Mistry. The company has also brought in outside advisers, including Deloitte and legal firm Trilegal, to support the probe. Their findings will be placed before the panel, which is expected to review the matter and recommend any required action.
TCS Suspends Staff Under Investigation
TCS said employees who are under investigation have been suspended pending inquiry. It also clarified that one woman repeatedly described in reports as an HR manager was actually a process associate and did not hold any leadership or recruitment role. The company further denied reports that its Nashik unit had been shut, saying operations there continue normally.
TCS Zero Tolerance Policy and Police Cooperation
The company said it remains committed to employee safety and has a zero-tolerance approach towards coercion or misconduct. It added that it would fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies as the investigation continues. The statement comes as the case remains under close public scrutiny and police continue examining the broader allegations linked to the unit.
