Former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly has unveiled plans to operationalize a steel plant in Garbeta, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal, within the next 18 to 20 months. This initiative, in collaboration with Captain Steel, represents a significant investment of ₹2,500 crore and aims to establish a production capacity of 0.8 million tonnes annually.
