A passenger train collided with a stationary goods train near Kavarapettai in Tamil Nadu on Friday, leading to the derailment of several coaches. The extent of injuries is still being assessed, and authorities have yet to release official figures regarding the number of passengers affected. Restoration Efforts and Rail Disruptions Tamil Nadu police confirmed that the collision occurred when the passenger train entered a loop line, resulting in the crash. Rescue teams, ambulances, and emergency personnel were quickly dispatched to the scene to assist the injured and manage the situation. Rail services in the region remain severely impacted, with ongoing efforts to restore normalcy. As authorities continue the investigation, further updates on the cause and impact of the incident are expected in the coming days.
