Telugu actress – Bharat Pulse News

The Supreme Court has upheld the conviction of the boyfriend of Telugu actress Pratyusha in connection with her death, bringing closure to a case that has remained under legal scrutiny for years. Pratyusha Suicide Case Supreme Court Verdict The court confirmed the earlier findings that held the accused guilty under charges related to abetment of suicide. The bench observed that the evidence on record and the circumstances surrounding the incident justified the conviction, and there was no legal ground to interfere with the trial court’s conclusions. The ruling ends the prolonged appeals process in the case. Evidence And Trial Court Findings During the trial, prosecutors presented witness testimonies and supporting material indicating sustained harassment and pressure faced by the actress prior to her death. The courts consistently relied on circumstantial evidence and recorded statements while evaluating the role of the accused. The conviction had been maintained by the High Court before reaching the Supreme Court. Legal Significance Of The Judgment Legal experts note that the judgment reiterates the principle that continuous mental harassment can constitute abetment when supported by clear evidence. The ruling reinforces earlier precedents on how courts interpret responsibility in cases involving suicide where direct physical involvement is absent but psychological pressure is proven.
